Late King of Pop Michael Jackson is all set to make his final journey to his former home Neverland Ranch, here is the photo of Neverland Ranch.

Fans of the late King of Pop will get the opportunity to bid farewell to the musical icon at a public viewing to be held on Friday. The event is scheduled to take place at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, after the singer’s remains are transported on Thursday via a 30-car motorcade.

However, it’s still unclear where the superstar will be buried. Jackson’s hometown of Gary, Indiana is hoping that his family will choose to bring their son to rest in the city where he grew up. Mayor Rudy Clay has already reached out to the clan, but is still awaiting their decision.

Clay told CNN, that a memorial service is set to take place July 10 at the Steel Works ballpark in town and will be “a memorial that’s fit for the prince of peace and a memorial that’s fit for Gary, Indiana’s favorite son, the greatest entertainer that ever lived.”

Reportedly Neverland Ranch (pictures below) has been decided as the location for the public viewing. According to TMZ, quoting a source, plans are being made for a 30-car motorcade to carry the late music legend’s body from Los Angeles at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2009 to for Santa Barbara County, California, which is where the Neverland Ranch address is located. The singer purchased the ranch in 1987 and it famously became a landscape complete with an amusement park and a zoo with exotic animals. Jackson left the ranch in 2005.

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 at age 50, and is survived by his three children, Jackson, who died after suffering cardiac arrest on June 25, left behind three children: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II, (aka Blanket Jackson). The untimely death of the King of Pop leaves behind, additionally, a musical legacy. He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of the Jackson 5 and as a solo artist), received 13 Grammy Awards and had worldwide album and singles sales totaling more than 750 million. His landmark 1982 album Thriller album was the best selling album in music history, certified 28 times platinum by the RIAA.
